B.B. KingThe king of urban blues, BB King occasionally played the Bottom Line in New York's West Village. My photo editor gave me this assignment: "Make sure you get BB with Lucille." Having never seen BB, I wasn't sure who Lucille was. When "she" still had not appeared halfway through the show, I asked a fan in the audience, "When does Lucille usually come on?" He laughed and said, "He's been holding her all night." Lucille, of course, is BB's signature electric guitar. |
